Dunoon Presents 2020 Events
Due to the current and ongoing Covid-19 health pandemic the Dunoon Presents board regrets to announce that there will be a moratorium on all planned and published 2020 events activity until further notice.
This is in line with current government advice. Our primary concern is both the observance of that advice and the wellbeing of everybody involved in the staging of these events, ie: our businesses, attendees, competitors, organisers, spectators and suppliers..
As and when the current national lockdown and restrictions on people movement alters, we shall re visit the situation per the guidelines at that time.
For attendees, competitors and suppliers at planned events, we will contact you separately to advise on ticketing/entry arrangements as a result of this decision.
Thank you

Scottish BIDs Resilience Fund
Due to the impact of Covid-19 and the subsequent fall out, the Dunoon BID has been left in a particularly vulnerable position financially.
As a direct result of this, on Friday afternoon past the Dunoon Presents Board submitted a funding application to the Scottish Government BIDs Resilience Fund to put in place arrangements in the coming months which will also directly assist the business community in the post coronavirus recovery phase.
These are a combination of:
- A contribution to the project core operating costs
- Funding for a stirring digital based campaign encouraging people to come back to Dunoon and surrounding area once it is safe to do so
- Access for all local businesses irrespective of the products sold, to be a part of a local home delivery hub
We hope to hear the outcome of this application in approximately 10 days and will share that news with you all when we receive it.
