Due to the impact of Covid-19 and the subsequent fall out, the Dunoon BID has been left in a particularly vulnerable position financially.

As a direct result of this, on Friday afternoon past the Dunoon Presents Board submitted a funding application to the Scottish Government BIDs Resilience Fund to put in place arrangements in the coming months which will also directly assist the business community in the post coronavirus recovery phase.

These are a combination of:

• A contribution to the project core operating costs
• Funding for a stirring digital based campaign encouraging people to come back to Dunoon and surrounding area once it is safe to do so
• Access for all local businesses irrespective of the products sold, to be a part of a local home delivery hub
